Bill Nordstrom, co-president of Nordstrom Inc. (Seattle), announced he would leave the company. His responsibilities for the upscale East Coast stores will be taken over by Jim O'Neal, the current Southwest general manager. Specific reasons for Nordstrom's departure are uncertain.
