MANAGEMENT CHANGES:

Amerlux Lighting Solutions (Fairfield, N.J.) has hired Tori Poppenheimer as senior product designer of its outdoor lighting subsidiary, Dynamic Lighting Solutions.

Shelley Wang has been appointed president of WAC Lighting (Garden City, New York), which is also celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Palladeo (Glendale, Calif.) announced that the following employees at the designer, fabricator and builder of retail environments have become LEED Accredited Professionals: Kirsten Backstrand, senior environmental designer; Tom Coleman, operations director; Tom Ertler, creative director; Ben Heyd, architectural project manager; Santos Lacuesta, architectural project manager; Joe Pope, superintendent; and Cassie Tenney, senior environmental designer.

Granger Contracting Co. Inc. and N-STORE Services LLC (Chesterfield, Mo.) have promoted Pete Joyce to director of operations and Kelly Wurtz to program manager-team lead.

Poulin + Morris (New York) has named Brian Brindisi a principal of the design consulting firm.

Louise Gardner has been appointed director of marketing and engineering at Nora Lighting Inc. (Commerce, Calif.).

Lighting design practice Speirs and Major Associates (London) has promoted Keith Bradshaw to director.

BUSINESS BRIEFS:

INVISTA, makers of Antron carpet fiber, has achieved LEED Gold certification for Commercial Interiors for its Antron brand Studio showroom in Chicago’s Merchandise Mart. The showroom, created by Design Collaboratives Inc. (Chicago), features minimal internal structure and utilizes many of the original 1983 finishes and furniture.

Italian stone and tile manufacturer GranitiFiandre and its distributor partner, Western Brick, Stone and Tile, have jointly opened a GranitiFiandre Resource Center in Dallas.
