MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Columbus, Ohio-based design firm Fitch appointed Jim Whyte as senior insights analyst. Whyte’s background includes projects for American Express, Adobe, Selfridges and British Gas.

Fixture manufacturer T.C.Millwork Inc. (Bensalem, Pa.) added Vinny Faviano to its business development team. Faviano previously worked as manager of fixture design and development for JCPenney. He has also held positions at Artitalia, Fleetwood Fixtures and Grand & Benedicts.

STORE OPENING

Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen (Winter Park, Fla.) reopened in Winter Park, Fla. The space, which for more than 30 years had operated as Barnie’s Coffee & Tea, has evolved into a new concept, which includes a complete rebrand, store remodel and new business model. CoffeeKitchen will serve as a community gathering place, featuring expanded seating and in-store roasting. The company plans to remodel all eight existing corporate locations and add a new location at CityArts Factory in Orlando.

BUSINESS BRIEFS

Graphics manufacturer Visual Magnetics (Mendon, Mass.) is partnering with PrintLAT (Miramar, Fla.) to bring its Visual Magnetics Graphic System product line to Latin America.

Hospitality design firm Gettys (Chicago) partnered with consumer environment manufacturer idX Corp. (St. Louis) to create Gettys One, a single-source implementation solution for hospitality projects. The services include procurement, architect-of-record, permitting, construction, logistics and installation.

Lighting manufacturer General LED Inc. (San Antonio) launched a new website, www.generalled.com, and two of its scheduled three divisional sites – www.agilight.com and www.genledlighting.com.
