Baskin-Robbins Expands in China

Plans 249 new stores in the next decade

Baskin-Robbins (Canton, Mass.) has signed five new franchise agreements as part of a strategy to expand its presence in China. During the next 10 years, the company plans to open dozens of new locations in the Hubei, Hebei, Liaoning and Shandong provinces, as well as Tianjin City. Currently, Baskin-Robbins’ parent company, Dunkin’ Brands Intl., owns more than 90 locations in China.
