BHDP Architecture Names John P. O’Brien, Client Leader – Retail

Cincinnati, OH, April 9, 2015 – BHDP Architecture has named John P. O’Brien, RDI, as Client Leader on its Cincinnati-based Retail Team.

O’Brien has over 20 years of retail design experience, most recently as Director of Innovation and New Store Planning with Kohl’s Department Stores. He began his career as a Store Planning Professional with Baxter/Shirk (a former BHDP partnership) before moving to Macy’s Department Stores where he progressed to Director Store Planning.

After earning a degree in Interior Design from Northern Illinois University in 1988, O’Brien continued his studies in historic preservation while becoming a well-regarded leader at the Retail Design Institute. “I look forward to joining BHDP where I can apply my experience to its fast growing Retail Market Team. I’m excited to be part of its bright future,” said O’Brien.
