Bloomingdale's at Home in Old Orchard?

A report in Crain's Chicago Business says Federated Department Stores (Cincinnati) is looking to add a Bloomingdale's home store at Old Orchard Center in suburban Skokie, Ill.

The New York-based Federated division is reportedly angling for a space adjacent to its existing Bloomingdale's department store in the high-end mall. The space is currently operated by an Eddie Bauer home and apparel store that is scheduled to close as part of bankrupt parent Spiegel's Chapter 11 reorganization.
