Designers of the Boday-Bulloni optical shop say their goal was to build an environment which showed patrons that their choice of eyewear can “open a new perspective on the outside world.” To that end, the 1400-square-foot store created by Berne-based designer Liliana Ferreira and Umdasch Shop Concept (Oberentfelden, Switzerland) features windows outlined by rounded arches that resemble the curves of eyeglass frames, as well as metal display towers that look like trees and wallpaper bearing a variety of floral and ornamental patterns. “The store shows the modern world in harmony with nature,” says Ferreira.
