Bon-Ton Hires William Tracy

The Bon-Ton Stores Inc. (York, Penn.) announced it has named William Tracy as the company’s coo. According to a press release, he will assume this position July 27.

Tracy will be in charge of overseeing the company’s information systems, supply chain, distribution and logistics, omnichannel strategies, real estate and human resources efforts, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

Previously, Tracy was executive vp at Hudson’s Bay Co. (Toronto), where he also managed the company’s supply chain, logistics and omnichannel strategies. His experience in the retail industry spans more than three decades, including working for such companies as Lord & Taylor (New York) and Nine West (White Plains, N.Y.).
