Acquires the 26 Midwestern stores of Mil-Mar Shoe

Brown Shoe Co. (St. Louis), which operates the Naturalizer and Famous Footwear chains, has added the 26 stores of Mil-Mar Shoe Co.(Milwaukee) to its stable. The acquiree's mostly warehouse-type stores are concentrated in Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin.
