California Grapes Intl. Announces First Store

California Grapes Intl. Inc. (Henderson, Nev.) has secured a lease for its first retail store in Beijing. The store has 900 square feet of indoor and 300 square feet of outdoor space in one of the premier shopping and residential developments in Beijing. It is scheduled to open in April.

The design concept will offer a unique representation of the California Wine Industry and will be organized by regional location. The wineries’ products will be presented as a complete selection and not segregated by varietal as most commonly seen in the U.S. market.

“We are very fortunate to be able to secure such a great initial location,” says Jeffrey Crittenden, ceo, CGI. “The remaining 3 stores planned for this year will have a great base of operations to build from.”
