Jewelry retailer Cartier (Paris) opened a store in Palto Alto, Calif., after closing a location there in 2011.

Housed in the Stanford Shopping Center, the new store is 3906 square feet, reports Women’s Wear Daily. There are three viewing rooms that include a feminine room with diamonds and pearls and a men’s lifestyle salon.

“We have seen an influx of luxury clientele in the area over the past few years, so we are [pleased] to strengthen our presence on the West Coast and affirm our innovative spirit,” said Mercedes Abramo, Cartier North America president and ceo.
