Carving a Spot in New York

Swiss Army Brands Inc. (Shelton, Conn.) announced plans to open a flagship retail store in New York in mid-September. The anchor location will showcase the company's products, including its landmark Victorinox Swiss Army knives, plus watches, travel gear and apparel.

The 3500-square-foot store is scheduled to open on Prince Street in Manhattan's SoHo district. “We see this flagship as an opportunity to display the full range of our products under one roof,” said Jeff Turner, company president.
