Whole Foods (Austin, Texas) has always stocked an impressive selection of microbrews and craft beer labels. But now its Santa Rosa, Calif., store can boast the grocer’s first bar-within-a-grocery store. Designed by Field Paoli Architects (San Francisco), the 500-square-foot Coddingtown Tap Room resembles a miner’s saloon, complete with salvaged wood materials, rustic soft pine flooring and sliding barn doors. Inside, customers can choose from 16 local drafts and 300 bottles of beer.
