Lowe’s Cos. Inc. (Mooresville, N.C.) announced that John Kasberger, senior vice president/general merchandise manager – kitchen and bath, will retire on Jan. 31, 2010. Clinton Davis, currently senior vp/general merchandise manager – hardlines, will assume responsibility for kitchen and bath. In addition, Lowe’s has promoted Brent Kirby to senior vp of operations-North Central Division, and Thomas Lamb to senior vp of marketing and advertising.
STORE OPENINGS
Clinique Laboratories LLC (New York), a cosmetics brand, has opened a new global flagship counter at the Selfridges department store in London. The 880-square-foot open-sell environment offers customers multiple levels of service, providing each with a custom experience.
HH Gregg (Indianapolis), a consumer electronics retailer, has opened stores in Cincinnati and Cary, N.C.

Dunkin' Donuts (Canton, Mass.), an operator of coffee and baked goods shops, has signed an agreement with Gilligan Oil Co. LLC (Cincinnati) to open five Dunkin’ restaurants in the Cincinnati market during the next three years.
Office Depot (Boca Raton, Fla.), an office supplies retailer, has entered an agreement to sell office supplies at convenience stores operated by Lil’ Drug Store Products Inc. (Cedar Rapids, Iowa).
