David Danziger Resigns from American Apparel

Paula Schneider named as replacement

American Apparel Inc. (Los Angeles) announced David Danziger, board member and director of the company, has resigned.

Danziger became a board member in 2011 and was one of two remaining members from the board that fired founder and CEO Dov Charney last December.

The company also revealed that current CEO Paula Schneider will fill Danziger’s seat on the board. Women’s Wear Daily reports that Schneider will focus on updating the American Apparel brand, expanding employee benefits and improving the company’s finances.
