Store opens in Dubai’s new Mirdiff City Center

Destination Maternity Corp. (Philadelphia) has opened a Destination Maternity store in the Mirdiff City Center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.). The maternity apparel retailer joins stores such as Debenhams, Zara, and H&M at this new mall, located in Dubai City.
The location marks the third store opened through franchisee, Multi Trend, a member of the Al Homaizi Group. Destination Maternity and Multi Trend have a multi-year franchise agreement to operate branded retail locations under the Destination Maternity, Motherhood Maternity, A Pea in the Pod, and Edamame The Maternity Spa nameplates in six markets in the Middle East: the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
The two companies have also opened A Pea in the Pod brand store in the 360 Mall in South Surra, Kuwait, and a Motherhood Maternity store in the Al Bairaq Mall in Fintas, Kuwait.
Destination Maternity Corp. operates 1689 retail locations in the U.S. and Canada. Multi Trend is a franchisee in the Middle East for several lifestyle brands, including Custo Barcelona, a Spanish brand of fashion clothing and accessories; Go Sport, a French sporting goods retailer; and Cath Kidston, a British brand for home accessories.
