Destination Maternity Names CFO

Destination Maternity Corp. (Philadelphia) has tapped David Stern as its new executive vp and cfo. Stern will oversee finance and accounting, real estate, loss prevention and procurement at the maternity apparel retailer.

Stern’s background includes stints at Pep Boys, A.C. Moore Arts and Crafts, and Coldwater Creek, according to a press release.

“Dave has a strong cultural alignment with our leadership group and this, combined with his background and experience, make him a perfect addition to our executive team,” said Anthony M. Romano, the company’s ceo and president.

Destination Maternity operates 1487 retail locations in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.K.
