Franchise agreement is building out group’s brands

Philadelphia-based Destination Maternity has a new addition to its international family with the arrival of its second store in Kuwait. Opened under a franchise agreement with Multi Trend, a member of the Al-Homaizi Group, the new location in the Al Bairaq Mall marks the brand’s debut in the region around Fintas.
The world’s largest designer and retailer of maternity apparel, Destination Maternity plans to expand in six key Middle East markets: the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. The company is partnering with Multi Trend to operate branded retail locations and market merchandise under its Destination Maternity, A Pea in the Pod, Motherhood Maternity and Edamame The Maternity Spa brands.
