Domino's Pizza Hits 10,000-Store Milestone

Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Domino's Pizza opened its 10,000th store, in Kaligthane, a district within the city of Istanbul. Domino's Pizza in Turkey is owned and operated by Fides, a private equity company, and operated by Aslan Saranga , the brand's general manager.

Over the years, the pizza chain has focused on international expansion, including to Australia, Mexico, India and the U.K. In early 2012, the company’s international store count eclipsed its U.S. store count, and now also accounts for more than half of its annual global retail sales, which are close to $7 billion.
