MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Eastern Mountain Sports (Peterborough, N.H.) has promoted two managers to director-level positions at the outdoor gear, clothing, footwear and accessories retail company. Kate Lynch has been named director of marketing and Marshall Merriam is now director of merchandising.

STORE OPENINGS

Barefoot Books (Cambridge, Mass.) has moved its Best of Boston bookstore to a new flagship location in the literary hub of Concord, Mass., at 89 Thoreau Street. Designed in the imaginative and colorful style that the publisher is known for, the new store brings Barefoot Books to life in a magical community center where families and friends can gather to experience live storytelling, music, arts and crafts and yoga.

Convenience store chain Sheetz (Altoona, Pa.) has opened a 5000-square-foot store in Woodward Township, Pa., near Jersey Shore.
