Harry & David Holdings Inc. (Medford, Ore.), a multichannel retailer and producer of fruit and gourmet food products and gifts, has hired Ed Dunlap as its senior vp and chief financial officer. Dunlap’s career includes executive stints at Shaklee Corp. and Wild Oats Markets Inc.
Borders Group (Ann Arbor, Mich.), a book retailer, has named three zone vps: Mike Steele, West Coast; John Melnick, Northeast; and Dave Marsico, Midwest.
Martin Professional (Aarhus, Denmark) a creator of dynamic lighting solutions, has hired Henrik Færch as its senior project manager – R&D.
Neiman & Co. (Van Nuys, Calif.), a manufacturer of custom architectural and ADA signage, has added James Starke to its sales staff, working out of the company’s new office in San Ramon, Calif.
STORE OPENINGS
Prime Retail (Baltimore), a developer of outlet malls, announced that fashion retailer Escada has opened a 3200-square-foot store at its Prime Outlets center in Queenstown, Md.
Verizon Wireless (Basking Ridge, N.J.), a wireless communications company, has opened a 3300-square-foot store in Sea Girt, N.J.
