New fixture and furniture venture run by Maharg, Conley

Two former principals at Look have started MC (New York), which specializes in flexible fixtures, fixture systems and furniture. Look founder James Maharg is MC’s president, while ex-Look vp of sales Tom Conley takes that same title at the new firm.
MC is being backed by The LDB Group, which also owns Bernstein Display. “With the addition of MC, we believe we are filling a void in the fixture and visual merchandising industry for forward-thinking, creative, cost-effective solutions for store planners and visual merchandising professionals.” said Roger Friedman, Bernstein Display’s ceo.
MC’s operations will be based at Bernstein Display’s New York showroom on West 25th Street.
