Business Briefs:

bc (Columbus, Ohio, retail design and architecture firm) was recently formed by Luanne Carleton and Tim Brownlee. Carleton previously served as design principal of Retail Design Group in Columus, while Brownlee was a project manager there. The new firm will focus on interior design, architecture, strategic retail planning and branding.

Management Changes:

Waldmann Lighting (Wheeling, Ill., lighting manufacturer) has appointed Matthew Aebischer as regional sales manager for the company's architectural and office lighting division. Aebischer is responsible for office lightng sales throughout the Eastern U.S.

BP, Fabrics and Fibers Business Unit (Dalton, Ga., manufacturer of carpet backing and industrial fabrics) has named Bradford Mortimer as president. Mortimer previously served as director of organizational development with BP Chemical.

Chicago Metallic Corp. (Chicago manufacturer of ceiling suspension systems and specialty products) has hired Ana Maria Pulido as sales manager for Mexico. Pulido was formerly the manager of direct accounts at Industrias Monterrey.

Cooley Group/Sign & Digital Products (Pawtucket, R.I., signage manufacturer) has hired Sophie Tigranoff as marketing manager, responsible for sales of sign and digital products in Europe. Tigranoff has years of digital industry experience, working primarily out of Belgium.
