Plans to add 450 stores by 2020
Consumer electronics retailer hhgregg Inc. (Indianapolis) is seeking to expand its presence across the U.S., growing from a primarily Midwest retailer to a more national-based focus.
Plans call for 40 to 45 stores to open this year in the Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore areas. By 2020, the retailer aims to grow to 600 stores, up from its current 127 locations.
