IKEA (Delft, The Netherlands) has appointed Mikael Ohlsson as president and chief executive, replacing Anders Dahlvig, who is stepping down in September after 10 years at the helm of the Swedish home-furnishings company.
Ohlsson has served as regional retail manager for southern Europe and North America for the past 15 years.
IKEA operates 262 stores in 24 countries.
