Line called +J will debut this fall

Jil Sander, who announced she would come out of retirement to design for Uniqlo, has released the name of her forthcoming collection: +J. The exclusive line, expected to be sold in Uniqlo’s larger stores and online, will feature around 40 pieces for men and 100 pieces for women. Price information and an actual launch date have not yet been released.
Sander, who is best known for her minimal designs, left her namesake design house five years ago. Earlier this year, she announced she’d be working with Uniqlo across the chain’s collections, including her own line.
“The combination of Uniqlo’s knowledge and long experience with fashion basics and Ms. Sander’s sensitivity and creativity will generate considerable benefits, and we are confident that our +J collection will prove popular with many customers across the world,” the retailer stated in a release.
Uniqlo is a division of Fast Retailing (Yamaguchi City, Japan).
