Partnering with Burano to distribute branded women’s line
Joe's Jeans Inc. has signed a new license agreement with Burano LLC to manufacture and distribute Joe's branded footwear for women. The initial term of the agreement is for three years with minimum net sales commitments of $5.5 million over the term.
The new line of women's shoes began hitting major department stores and specialty and company-owned stores this month, including ballet flats in a variety of embellishments and textures, which will be reinterpreted every season. Retail prices range from $120 to $145. Next month, a line of branded wedges, flat sandals and casual heels will hit stores.
"We believe our new line of Joe's branded footwear will contribute to continued brand name recognition and overall growth for 2010,” says president and ceo Marc Crossman. “The shoe line will reflect and embody the Joe's customer, as a fashion forward, casual woman with an independent streak.”
Joe's Jeans Inc. designs, produces and sells apparel and apparel-related products to the retail and premium markets under the Joe's brand and related trademarks.
