John Lewis (London) has announced plans to expand through Asia. The company is opening its first location in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, next month, and its second outpost will open in Dubai in spring 2017. Both stores will be shops-in-shop locations.

The store in Kuala Lumpur will be a 630-square-foot shop inside the Robinsons (Quezon City, Philippines) department store there, and the 15,000-square-foot Dubai store will also be located in a Robinsons.

The company currently operates 21 shops-in-shops throughout Singapore, the Philippines and South Korea. As part of its global rollout plan, it also has plans to open seven stores in the Netherlands through 2017, reports Women’s Wear Daily.
