Ken Martindale Promoted to Rite Aid Stores Ceo

Allows corporation’s ceo to focus on company’s healthcare teams

Rite Aid Corporation (Camp Hill, Penn.) announced that Ken Martindale has been promoted to ceo of Rite Aid stores, effective immediately. Previously, Martindale was the company’s president and chief operating officer. He will continue in his role as company president. He has been with the company since 2008.

Martindale will continue to report to Rite Aid’s CEO, John Standley. In a press release, Standley said Martindale “has played an instrumental role in driving Rite Aid’s improved business performance.”

Standley also said that Martindale’s promotion will allow him, as the company’s ceo, to “focus on working closely with our new healthcare-focused management teams at EnvisionRx, RediClinic and Health Dialog.”
