L&P Management Changes

Terry Schultz, president of the Niles, Ill.-based Store Fixtures Group at Leggett & Platt (Carthage, Mo.), will assume additional responsibilities as coo of the company's Fixture & Display Group (32 branches including store fixtures, point of purchase and storage products companies), effective immediately.

“In his new role,” said Bob Griffin, senior vp of Leggett & Platt and president of the Fixture & Display Group, “Schultz will concentrate on integrating operations and functions across the three segments in order to provide our retail customers with a full range of fixtures and equipment for their merchandising, storage and material handling needs.”

The company also named Roger Filizetti as cfo of the Fixture & Display Group. Filizetti was previously vp of import and fashion. He joined Leggett & Platt in July 1982. Both Schultz and Filizetti will report directly to Griffin.

Leggett & Platt is a diversified manufacturer of engineered products serving several major markets. Sales and production are focused on a wide range of commercial furnishings, residential furnishings, aluminum products, industrial materials and other specialized products. The company has facilities throughout North America and in numerous international locations.
