Macy’s director of windows Paul Olszewski has joined LIM – The College for the Business of Fashion, as an adjunct professor in the visual merchandising department.
Olszewski’s work at the Herald Square flagship has won numerous industry awards, including first place in VMSD’s International Visual Competition. In 2007, he also received the publication’s Award for Excellence in Visual Merchandising and Design in New York City. Prior to joining Macy’s, Olszewski was with Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.
“We are thrilled to have Paul join our faculty,” says LIM president Elizabeth Marcuse. “He exemplifies our practice of bringing the industry into the classroom. Our students will benefit greatly from his extensive experience creating inspiring designs and compelling window installations.”
After I graduated high-school I started to search for colleges in Colorado Springs, this was my parent’s idea so I could stay close to our home. After some time I realized this was not my "calling", so I attended The College for the Business of Fashion, my dream college I dreamed since my childhood. We are lucky to have professors like Mr.Olszewski that could guide us to become better in our profession.

I heard a lot of beautiful things about Paul, he is well-known for his great work at windows and I am glad he decided to join LIM and teach other people. I am making online homeland security degree and we also have good professors that worked in this field for a lot of years and became professionals then decided they have enough experience to help others.
