Going into former Gottschalk's location
Macy's Inc. (Cincinnati) plans to open a store in Tracy, Calif., this fall. The one-level, 101,000-square-foot store will be located in the West Valley Mall.
"We believe shoppers in Tracy and the surrounding region will respond enthusiastically to the distinctive fashion, obvious value and exciting shopping experience for which Macy's is known," says Ron Klein, Macy's chief stores officer. "We are especially excited, given that this will be Macy's first presence in Tracy, which is uniquely situated at the confluence of the San Francisco, San Jose, Modesto and Stockton metropolitan areas."
The Tracy location will offer a range of apparel and accessories for women, men and children, as well as housewares, home textiles and luggage.
General Growth Properties owns and operates the mall.
