Martin + Osa is a new brand concept that takes inspiration from real-life adventurers Martin and Osa Johnson. Design details reflect the attitude of the target consumer: active-minded, adventure-seeking 25- to 40-year-olds.
Large cypress plank doors at the entrance are used in lieu of glass. A cypress-lined lounge with a ping-pong table invites customers to literally come inside and play. Cypress floor and rafters add warmth underfoot and overhead. A wall-mounted memory wall of 1,000 black-and-white photos documents the namesake couple’s travels. And a gathering table, seating inglenook and two “cabins” showcase products in a communal fashion.
