MCM to Open New York Flagship

Luxury leather goods and accessories company MCM is opening a 4000-square-foot flagship in Manhattan this fall.

The new SoHo flagship represents a return to the brand’s German roots and Bauhaus style with its clean lines, open space and simplicity, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

The freestanding unit located at 100 Greene Street will serve as a model for future stores. The company hopes to open 10-plus stores in the U.S. in cities such as Miami, Texas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago. The brand operates a smaller unit at The Plaza hotel in New York.
