Moynat Opens New York Flagship

Moynat (Paris) has opened its first store in New York, located at 937 Madison Ave. The store design mimics the brand’s iconic domed trunks with an arched metal structure that extends throughout the space, spanning two levels with cathedral-like ceilings. Area rugs throughout call to mind the lining of the luxury brand’s bags.

The store also features a private salon, where customers can sip on tea and coffee, as well as view some of the brand’s bags made in exotic skins (housed in a glass case) and watch its custom hand-painting and stamp work take place, reports New York Racked.

The store expects to have an official launch sometime in May.
