Nespresso, a worldwide provider of premium portioned coffee, has opened its first Boutique Bar in Miami Beach. As part of the Nestle Group, Nestle Nespresso (Paudex, Switzerland) operates more than 190 boutiques.
"The opening of the flagship Nespresso Boutique Bar in Miami marks a new stage in the expansion of the brand on the international scene," says Frederic Levy, president of Nespresso North America.
The Boutique concept includes an espresso bar and food and pastries menu and is staffed by coffee experts. In 2010, Nespresso plans to expand its network of boutiques to more than 230, including locations in Europe, Asia, and North and Latin America.
Nespresso is the fastest growing brand in the Nestle Group with an average annual growth rate of 30 percent since 2000.
