Opening in former Virgin Megastore site
Nordstrom Inc. (Seattle) announced it’s bringing its first Rack outlet store to Manhattan next spring. The 32,136-square-foot unit will open on 14th Street between Broadway and Fourth Avenue in the site of a former Virgin Megastore.
The specialty apparel retailer operates three Rack locations and eight full-line stores in southern New York, northern New Jersey and western and southern Connecticut. “Union Square is a thriving retail area and is an ideal location for the city’s first Rack,” says Scott Meden, president of Nordstrom Rack.
