City’s first location will debut in fall 2011
Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc. will open a Nordstrom Rack at The Corner shopping center in Tucson, Ariz., next year. The 33,200-square-foot store will be the first Nordstrom Rack in Tucson. The off-price division operates four Rack stores in Arizona.
"We can't wait to open our doors next fall and get to work serving more of our customers," says Geevy Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack.
The store is part of the newly-developed Corner open air shopping center, which will encompass approximately 79,000 square-feet of retail space when fully developed by BP Wetmore Phase III Investors, an affiliate of Bourn Companies.
Nordstrom Inc. operates 190 stores in 28 states, including 113 full-line stores, 74 Nordstrom Racks, two Jeffrey boutiques and one clearance store.
