Out Of The Gap

In yet another of an alarming string of executive resignations, Gap Inc.'s senior vp of real estate has decided to step down. Scott Olivet came to the Gap two and a half years ago and had been responsible for real estate and corporate architecture and construction.

Olivet's responsibilities will be split into two management structures. The corporate-architecture and construction portion will be headed by Greg Poole, a senior vp at the Gap. He will oversee all store and office building construction and remodeling. While no one has been chosen to officially take over the new-store real estate division, Anne Gust, Gap's chief administrative officer, will handle the task in the meantime.

The departure follows a list of others in the last month, including the Gap brand's head of marketing and both Old Navy's cfo and head marketing executive.
