Paul Stuart (New York) plans to open a second location in Chicago on LaSalle Street. The 3600-square-foot unit will be located in the historic City National Bank Building, reports Women’s Wear Daily.
The store will join the upscale retailer’s other Chicago location, The Townhouse on East Oak Street, where it moved in 2008.
The new store will include eight display windows on LaSalle and Adams Streets.
“We are extremely excited about our long awaited arrival into The Loop,” ceo Michael Ostrove told WWD. “Our approach to dressing, with an emphasis on elegance and sophistication will remain unchanged. We are ready to embrace and serve our customers’ needs in this new location.”
Paul Stuart, which was founded in 1938, operates a New York flagship store and headquarters and three freestanding stores in Japan, along with more than 150 corners in major department stores in Japan and South Korea.
