Pearl River to Open New Location

Relocating store to Tribeca

Pearl River (New York) announced that it plans to reopen its store in a new location in New York’s Tribeca area. The retailer recently closed its SoHo location, due to rising rents. Located at 395 Broadway, the store will reopen as a temporary pop-up shop in time for the holidays and then will close again for renovations in mid-February. The overhauled store is expected to officially reopen in May.

The new store is smaller than its 30,000-square-foot predecessor and, consequently, will feature a more edited array of merchandise. However, it will introduce new products by major national and global brands, such as 3D-printed necklaces by jeweler-architect Jenny Wu, reports Gothamist.

The pop-up shop will allow the company to test drive some of those new products as well as see whether customers miss some of the old products that were previously available at the other store.
