LA is home to a pair of highly targeted retail concepts for dog and cat lovers

How’s this for carving out a targeted niche: a pet store that “caters to the urban loft, condo or apartment lifestyle of indoor pet living.” Or how about a retail establishment that targets dog owners seeking “environmentally conscious products” for their pets? Both can be found in the Los Angeles area – the former at the Pussy & Pooch Pethouse and Pawbar and the latter at the Healthy Spot.

The Pussy & Pooch was created by LA-based Tracy Beckmann Design, while AkarStudios designed the Healthy Spot in its hometown of Santa Monica.
