Expects to open 20 Mr. Clean car wash franchise locations in state

Procter & Gamble (Cincinnati) plans to bring 20 Mr. Clean car washes to Texas, in the Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston areas. The first Texas location, in Round Rock, outside Austin, is expected to open by spring 2010.
The car wash concept, which is operated by Agile Pursuits Franchising Inc., a subsidiary of P&G, has 16 locations in Georgia and Ohio, with seven more under development in the Southeast, Greater Cincinnati, Chicago and Colorado.
P&G acquired Carnett's Car Washes (Atlanta) in February and set up the franchising subsidiary to tap into the billion-dollar retail car washing market.
