Sainsbury’s (London) has decided to shutter all 16 of it’s Netto convenience stores in the next month.

Sainsbury’s bosses have decided to change their focus to the purchase of the Home Retail Group, which owns Argos, and a new business that will rival Amazon.

The supermarket chain will turn its focus to the purchase of the Home Retail Group, which owns Argos, and a new business that will rival Amazon, reports the Daily Mail.

The joint venture between Sainsbury’s and Netto’s Danish owner Dansk was created in 2014 on a trial basis as Sainsbury’s looked to take on discount rivals Aldi and Lidl, according to Wakefield Express.
