Same-store Sales Jump at Burberry

Store openings credited for increase

Burberry Group plc (London) reported a 15 percent spike in sales for the six month period ending March 31 after opening 11 new stores in the second half of 2011, according to the Washington Business Journal. The company also announced a 12 percent increase in same-store sales for the same period.
