Sbarro Expanding Footprint in India

Quick-service chain Sbarro (Melville, N.Y.) is partnering with franchisee Upper Crust Foods Pvt. Ltd. to open 15 restaurants in India. The first restaurant is expected to open in Mumbai this month.

Over the past six years, Sbarro has focused on international expansion, opening locations in Europe, Russia, Asia, India, the Middle East, South and Central America and Caribbean.

Sbarro operates more than 1000 restaurants in more than 40 countries.
