Max W. Jones, senior vice president and general merchandise manager of men's and cosmetics for the Proffitt's/McRae's store group within Saks Inc., has left the Birmingham, Ala.-based retail organization to join Goody's Family Clothing, Inc. (Knoxville, Tenn.) as executive vice president of merchandising.
