Group makes admired company ranking again
Simon Property Group Inc. (Indianapolis), one of the largest retail real estate owners, developers and managers, has been named America's most admired company in the real estate industry, according to Fortune magazine. The 27th annual list of admired companies presents SPG as an industry leader for the third time this decade.
Simon Property Group is an S&P 500 company which operates from five retail real estate platforms: regional malls, Premium Outlet Centers, The Mills, community/lifestyle centers and international properties. It currently owns or has an interest in 386 properties comprising 263 million square feet of gross leasable area in North America, Europe and Asia.
