Tapping into the festivities of Fashion Week in New York, Sony Style staged an evening of glamour and circuitry at its Madison Avenue store. Called “Sony Style: Where Fashion Meets Technology,” the event celebrated the launch of its new Vaio 8-inch laptop.
Christine Belich, vp, visual merchandising, for Sony Style, worked with Paper magazine to select six emerging fashion designers to create a custom computer bag with accompanying apparel to be presented at the event.
On opening night, the store and windows featured a gallery-like setting complete with mannequins from Pucci Intl. (New York) and models. All were wearing the fashion designers’ latest wares while sporting the new Sony Vaio Lifestyle PC.
I bought for my son a Sony Vaio laptop and it runs great after two years of using it, even after dropping it on the floor. Sometimes it does not want to recognize some exe file extension but I think the operation system is the fault and not the laptop itself. I saw the 8-inch display laptop from Sony and it looks very beautiful, I will buy it for my boy`s birthday.

Fashion Meets Technology has some very nice picture and the design are all great. I like the violet color concept in which the model and the graffiti are cool and nice to look especially the two mannequins look stylish with the gadgets all around them makes it very nice and the 1st picture looks fresh.
