Support will go to 2010 competition which focuses on convenience stores/gas stations
The Retail Design Institute (Tarrytown, N.Y.) is looking for additional sponsorship for its annual International Student Store Design Competition.
Retailers and benefactors interested in supporting this year’s challenge, which focuses on the category of convenience stores and gas stations, should contact Retail Design Institute international president Andrew McQuilkin at amcquilkin@bhdp.com.
This year's competition is sponsored by the institute’s Minneapolis/St. Paul chapter and gives college students and educators experience in creating a request for proposal. Students are required to present their idea in three phases, including programming, schematic design and design. The deadline is April 12, 2010. The Retail Design Institute is a membership-based non-profit organization with a focus on retail store planning and design.
